Colors

When Jacob gave to Joseph his son good and true
A coat of many colors it said, I love you
And God gave me eyes so that I can see
A world of pretty colors to say he loves me

Red is the apple, blue is the sky
Yellow is the sun that’s way up high
Orange is a pumpkin purple is a plum
Green is the grass where I can run

Pink is a little pig’s curly tail
black is the back of a humpback whale,
Brown is a monkey swinging in the tree
White is the snow that falls on me

When Noah stepped out of the ark he bowed his head and prayed
Then looked and saw a rainbow of colors that God made
And God gave me eyes so that I can see a world of pretty colors
that he made for me
